Not What I Wanted...
So yesterday I went on Youtube looking for something that I don't quite remember. However Youtube had other plans. Whenever I go on Youtube I always check the recommended video, because sometimes they contain useful videos. As I was checking I noticed the usual types of videos were being displayed; green screen shots, Minecraft and others. However one of the video that was so aptly named "Horse Breeding" I found to be quite out of place. I don't know how watching a video called "Retarded Horse" would make youtube think I would every watch this, but it was surprising to say the least.

ReplyDeleteOh god...I'd be interested in seeing the YouTube recommendation algorithm process that caused this little faux pas
ReplyDeletedid it ever occur to you that people just want to watch that? ;)
ReplyDeleteinteresant

ReplyDeleteThe recommended videos can be useful for when you're bored.

ReplyDeletei watched a bubaloo comercial and then suddely youtube recomends transexual videos and i was like WTF??
How they pick their videos for you is like how Pandora picks their music for you. If it slightly resembles something you've watched or heard, they'll put it as recommended or play it.

ReplyDeleteprobably you were looking for something similar ;) haha just kidding
